Gaziantep is a city in southeast Turkey and amongst the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world. The city is located 185 kilometres (115 miles) northeast of Adana and 127 kilometres by road north of Aleppo, Syria. The metropolitan area in the entire Gaziantep Province had a population of 1.3 million as of 2010, making the city sixth most populous in Turkey. The city has two urban districts under its administration, Åžahinbey and Åžehitkamil.
