Glion

Glion is a village in the municipality of Montreux in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. The village is located at 700 m.a.s.l., close to Lake Geneva. The very favourable position of this modest village dominating Montreux and the Throats of Chauderon made a centre of tourism in the 19th century. After the big hotels, residential developments considerably changed the aspect of the site and conferred on it new identity, with notably considerable parks done up.
