The family-run Old Nickel is just a short walk from Amsterdam Central Station. It offers budget rooms, a daily breakfast buffet, and a bar serving 70 different beers.

This small hotel has guest rooms with a sink. The shared bathrooms are located outside the room in the hallway. Some of the rooms are in a separate building.

A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning. You can relax in the bar, which has original wood paneling from a 17th-century ship.

From The Old Nickel, you can reach Dam Square in a 10-minute walk. The Martelaarsgracht tram stop is 650 ft away, and offers direct access to the Museum Square with tram 5.
