Dating back to the 1800s, Il Casale Delle Rose is a working farm in Val di Noto. Just 3.5 km outside Caltagirone, it serves an organic breakfast of homemade produce.

Il Casale Delle Rose has extensive grounds that include a swimming pool and a horse riding stable. Cookery classes are available on site and the restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine. Breakfast includes homemade biscuits and milk and jams from the farm.

Rooms overlook the garden and some have a balcony. All feature a fan, TV and private bathroom with toiletries.

Set in central Sicily, the Casale is an hour's drive from Ragusa and 35 km from the coast. Siracusa and Catania are both around 90 minutes away by car.
