On 2 acres of beautiful grounds, on the banks of the Wylye River, the George offers stunning views, freshly prepared food, a traditional oak-beamed bar, free Wi-Fi.

Set in the picturesque Wiltshire village of Longbridge Deverill, the George Inn provides comfortable accommodations, charmingly decorated to reflect the building’s traditional original style. There are 11 rooms with private bathrooms, all with TVs, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities.

The traditional Smithy Bar is cozy and relaxing with oak-beamed panels, wood furniture and a real log fire. The bar offers good local and premium real ales, lagers and ciders and an extensive wine list. During the summer months, the grounds provide the perfect environment to enjoy a drink on the banks of the River Wylye.

The inn offers an extensive range of tempting dishes, freshly cooked and made using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The daily specials reflect the finest, freshest seasonal produce available in the region.
