Eberndorf tourist information

Eberndorf is a town and summer resort in the district of Völkermarkt in Carinthia in Austria, the main town in the Jaun Valley (German: Jauntal), southeast of Lake Klopein.

As of the 2001 census 9% of the population was Carinthian Slovenes. It is the birthplace of the Slovene novelist Mimi Malenšek and the hometown of the prominent lawyer, human rights activist, and politician Rudi Vouk.
